Interesting remark in the article: 

“I’ve often heard people within the software industry getting into lengthy 
arguments about the benefits or limitations of OSS even though they have 
never even tried it. That tells us that there is still much to do to get more 
people to try OSS for themselves,” said Nhlanhla Mabaso, Open Source Centre 
manager at the Meraka Institute.
