PPU Application

Hello all,

I would like to apply for Per-Package Upload rights for Ubuntu Studio. 
I've been involved with & leading Ubuntu Studio for the past year, and 
it recently came to my attention that 1) nobody on the team has upload 
rights, and 2) upload rights for at least one team member were required 
to remain an official flavor.

We have a huge community that relies on this flavor of Ubuntu for 
multiple reasons. There are artists of all kinds all over the world 
using Ubuntu Studio, and I keep running into success stories, like 
those of the Creative Commons band Lorenzo's Music using Ubuntu Studio 
to do everything for their recently released album: from producing the 
music to making album artwork to their music video. You can read about

That is just one success story where Ubuntu Studio was a major part.

With that, I want to state this: millions of users are affected by the 
work of Ubuntu Studio. Its importance as an all-inclusive Ubuntu flavor 
for creative-types reaches far.

As it is, I don't have to stress the importance of either Ross or 
myself (or both) becoming package uploaders for Ubuntu Studio. I hope 
that this application process is successful for one or both of us, and 
that Ubuntu Studio can continue to make an impact on the world.
