My biggest concern was that there weren't as many uploads to Ubuntu main yet.

I am a bit hesitant to grant upload rights to all of Ubuntu to someone
who hasn't had Ubuntu upload rights yet.

How much is not having upload rights to Ubuntu main blocking your
work? Is sponsorship working adequately for now?
