A couple of hundred times a day is not "not that often". It is
a gross malfeature: A major speed bump for non-technical first
time users (supposedly the target audience for Ubuntu), and a
constant daily irritation for the rest of us.

User to computer: "Open jpg files with GQView."

Computer to user: "Do you think you f***ing own me?"

User to Ubuntu: "Hey, this thing is broken."

Ubuntu to user: "Tell someone who cares."
