Thank you for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Could you get
a backtrace (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace) when starting it? Do you
need to use words like "GNOME crapulence" to describe your problem,
better to stay correct with people working on the problems you describe
