Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: nautilus
Hi!
I've started using nautilus's non-spatial mode, after a long time using
spatial. I guess it really is more useful, but there's a feature I miss
from spatial and that's the way the folder button on the lower left
corner of the window behaved. This is the button I mean, in case you're
not following me:

It lets you drag it to move or copy the folder, or even delete it if you
move it to the trash and that is extremely handy.
I'd like non-spatial mode's address buttons behave that way. Those are
the buttons I mean:

proposed behavior:
-dragging the button moves the folder, if it has a custom icon a
thumbnail appears.
-holding the shift key copies the folder instead of moving it.
-dragging to the trash erases the folder. nautilus shows the parent
folder then (the window closes in spatial mode).
-dragging to a different location makes the address bar buttons change
automatically to match the new location.
-hitting the right button summons a menu just like spatial's: copy, cut,
send to trash...
-the same actions can be performed on higher or lower level folders, it
only depends on what address button you press.
I really think those changes would be for the best, so please take some
time to consider them.
** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
