Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

I have a problem with Nautilus 2.16.1 running under Edgy:

The university network administrators give the address
'ftp://username@www.people.ex.ac.uk' to access student web space, I
noticed that when using nautilus it produces an error.

"Nautilus cannot display "ftp://username@www.people.ex.ac.uk".

Please select another viewer and try again."

This works fine without the username portion or removing the 'www.'
removes the problem too.

I cannot recreate this under nautilus 2.14.3 running under Fedora Core
5.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
