I can no longer reproduce the problem.  However, I have since re-
installed ubuntu, using the flight-7 CDs.

lso, the machine which had the problem had been installed using a
kubuntu CD's and I also had some other artifacts within the theme.  It
might be due to KDE's attempt to make gnome applications look the same
as the KDE applications?
