well I didn't understand what you asked me, but I can re-explain what
happened to be clear

i clicked System -> Shut Down then I get the dialog which asks me what
I'd like to do (with the timeout stuff) if I click on the X to close the
window I get lots of windows to inform me about gnome-panel crashes and
to ask me if I want to reload the stuff which crashed. the backtrace was
of the first crash window appeared
