should be fixed with 1.0.4-1ubuntu2 which was uploaded some minutes ago. Please reopen this bug if it doesn't fix it for you.

The problem was that liferea was compiled against our firefox 1.5 which is ABI incompatible with mozilla 1.7 thus I removed all search paths except the one for firefox
