[Bug 52945] No system sounds on Gnome

Binary package hint: gnome-alsamixer

I test the devices with the sound application in the preferences menu,
but I have no system sound. It may come from ESD, but I'm not sure of
that. I saw too that I haven't the sound applet next to the clock in my
gnome panel. Is it linked ?
