Ah, sorry. I'm running Breezy, upgraded with all the latest updates. Yes, I have
heard it uses HAL now, and I suppose that is an important reason for it to work
as it does. I suppose it reacts only on the status changing on the battery from
charging to discharging and not paying attention to the AC-adapter status.
(/proc/acpi/ac_adapter/AC/state).
