           Summary: Keyboard indicator: Funky graphics
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: gnome-applets
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: smahoney at pdx.edu
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

The keyboard indicator after a while starts to display funky graphics over the
text that look like squiggles or random diagonal lines. After a while, it
becomes completely unreadable.

I am using Ubuntu 5.10 with the nVidia drivers and USA and RUS (US English and
Russian) keyboard layouts installed. I just started using xcompmgr, too, but
this problem happens whether or not it is turned on (and happened before I
started using xcompmgr).
