Summary: DVD Drive Mounts, but not on startup or after new log on
           Product: Ubuntu
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: i386
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: totem
        AssignedTo: seb128 at ubuntu.com
        ReportedBy: ebibbee at gmail.com
         QAContact: desktop-bugs at lists.ubuntu.com

I have a slight problem with my DVD drive since upgrading to Breezy from Hoary.

If I startup my computer or log in as another user and turn totem on to play a
DVD that was already in the drive when the computer was shut down or when the
previous user logged out, I get an error indicating that the mountpoint for my
DVD drive /dev/hdc could not be found by Totem in /etc/fstab.

This can be resolved by opening and closing the DVD drive. The DVD is then
recognized instantly, and icon appears on the desktop, and I can watch the film
in Totem. However, there must be some sort of glitch, since this rather silly
step was not necessary in Hoary.

This does not occur with my other optical drive (CD-Rom): it mounts and
re-mounts flawlessly at all times.
This did not occur in Hoary prior to Breezy upgrade.

I have seen some suggestions about similar issues in various release candidates
of Breezy, but I only ugraded after the official/final release.
