[ANN] brz-3.0.0 has been frozen!

The brz source has been frozen in preparation for the release of
brz-3.0.0.

The tarball is presently available on launchpad.[0]

1. All plugin authors are encouraged to update their code to work with
   the new release.  Please reply to this message with status of your
   efforts and compatible versions of plugins.

2. Platform maintainers, packagers, and installer builders are
   encouraged to update their copy of brz and prepare new releases to
   coincide with the public release.  Please reply to this message to
   tell which versions of which plugins are packaged.

See the Changelog[1] for more details about what is included.

Everyone, please feel free to help build packages for whichever
operating system you are interested in.
