Wow, that's quite a list.
Building something on Windows without having a package manager means a
lot of manual work. And call me paranoid: Having to download binaries
from sf.net makes me nervous...
Ok, I'm giving the whole thing a try. I'm not sure if I have to use
the *exact* depenency versions (the installers project is a bit
dated), but let's see how far I can get (and if this works in the VM I
downloaded from Microsoft).
