Thanks for your interest in working on bzr-rewrite.

Note that since bzr-rewrite has already been removed from Debian unstable,
taking over maintenance of the Debian package isn't really possible -
it would have to be uploaded again as if it was a new package. Anybody
can do this - just follow the usual procedure for uploading new packages
(filing an ITP, etc).

(The procedure of "adopting" a package only applies while the package
is still in the archive and has been put up for adoption or orphaned by
the original maintainer)

I don't remember how it FTBFS - it seems to build fine here now as well.
