revision id format stability?

We generate the revision id from your 'whoami'. I don't expect we'll
change how we generate them any time soon.

If you squish part of the revision-id out, then you'll have to use
your own mechanism for bringing it back. One option is to just change
your whoami if you really don't want your email address in the system.
