Patch pilot report for 21st November

The main feature of this week in reviews has been trying to catch up
on the backlog. Unfortunately the Patch Queue Manager is currently
blocked after we tried landing John's client reconnection branch, so
don't send anything else through for merging till that gets resolved.

* We've got into a tough position with John's work here. The length of
time it's spent awaiting review hasn't helped, and trying to land it
so it can at least get some time in beta now looks difficult given the
test suite hang.

* Lots more HPSS branches from Jelmer, many wrapping existing methods
as smart verbs, but also adding some new interfaces related machinery.
Landing them requires a fair bit of manual conflict resolution, and
clashes with the categorisation of hpss calls in the client
reconnection branch.
