There weren't too many things in urgent need of piloting this week,
which for a rookie who himself needed to be piloted across the
Atlantic for UDS was a good thing.

<https://code.launchpad.net/~benoit.pierre/bzr/upgrade_up-to-date_not_an_error/+merge/80149>
* Landed from last week, Benoît has been doing a great job on problems
with our UI.

<https://code.launchpad.net/~gz/bzr/lru_cache_refactor/+merge/79439>
* Unblocked by asking allenap to double check launchpad wasn't using
any deprecated features. In fact, they aren't using bzrlib.lru_cache
at all.

<https://code.launchpad.net/~jelmer/bzr/feature-flags-spec/+merge/79356>
* Jelmer's documentation on how to handle format changes in future.
Anyone who's interested may want to have a look too and send further
feedback to the list.

<https://code.launchpad.net/~wence/bzr/check-clean/+merge/80657>
* Lawrence got from putting up a branch with a fix, to submitting a
merge proposal, to adding release notes and a test case and sending
the contributor agreement in short order, and the branch now looks
ready to land.

We were due to release 2.4 this week, which looked like a tough ask.

<https://code.launchpad.net/~gz/bzr/2.4_tests_testtools_output_815423/+merge/80483>
* Fix test failures on 2.4 by bringing adaptation to new testtools
output from trunk.

<https://code.launchpad.net/~vila/bzr/880701-resolve-duplicate/+merge/80489>
* Painful issue with duplicate files appearing as content conflicts in
merge. Worth fixing on 2.4 but could do with some time on trunk first,
so vila released 2.4.2 then landed for 2.4.3 which resolved all
concerns.

So, Bazaar 2.4.2 is ready for packaging and has a number of bug fixes
users have been waiting for.

There are however, a few stuck proposals for Bazaar currently. Some
may want moving to "Work in Progress" as they have the required
feedback and just need some more work. However, John's branches for
client reconnection <http://pad.lv/819604> wait for a thorough review.
