[ANN] 2.4.2 has gone gold

Here comes our new stable minor release in the 2.4 series: 2.4.2

Time for packagers and installers builders to do their magic stuff !

I'll make the official announcement next Tuesday "morning" (I'll be at
UDS, don't ask me to predict at what time I'll do the announce ;) but
the date is expected to be 2011-11-01, at least for *me*.

Hopefully all the regular packages/installers will be available then.
