Hi all,

bzr 2.3b5 will be frozen this Thursday and this will be our last beta
release before 2.3.0 is released in February.

After 2.3b5, we won't make any API changes and will land only bug fixes
and reasonably stable feature changes.

In preparation for this new stable release, I'd like to remind plugin
authors about our policy defined in doc/developers/cycle.txt:

| Plugins that want to cooperate with this should make a series and a branch
| that matches each bzr stable series, and follow similar rules in making
| releases from their stable branch.  We'd expect that plugins will make a
| release between the first beta release of a series and the final major
| release.

So, if you haven't created a stable branch targeted at bzr-2.3, now is
the time !

Just creating it from your actual tip should be enough, don't rush new
features, be good time-based release managers :)

The plan is to include such plugins into the 2.3.0 release we'll do in
February, if you need help for that, let us know !
