Can you be more explicit ? Do we really need them for 2.2.1 or only for
2.3b1 ?

AIUI, Gary needed some critical fixes in but I thought they were windows
specific.

2.2.1 has been released which means the ppa have been updated. So if we
wan to include new versions of the plugins we need to know which.
