Are you sure that Explorer runs qbranch dialog? There is several
custom dialogs inside Explorer, so maybe it was actually custom one?
In this case I can imagine Explorer trying to open your new branch and
it took additional 1.5 minutes.

I'm planning to investigate Explorer's performance in the near time,
and I have some ideas to check. But at first I need to review all
outstanding merge proposals and triage bugs. So it won't be fast :-/
