What support exists in bzr for .bzrmeta?

I'm asking because in bzrlib/__init__.py there is such constant:

IGNORE_FILENAME = ".bzrignore"

Also will be nice to filter out .bzrmeta in export operation, as it done now for .bzrignore.
I'm not sure I need anything specific, but if there is something I'm curious to know.
