How to make a branch on Windows of a repository containing symlink?

Hi,
I'm trying to branch the thrift project on Launchpad and run into the error
below. What can I do to make the branch? I don't really care for the symlink
file (e.g. skipping this file would be fine)...

bzr branch lp:thrift
Connected (version 2.0, client Twisted)
Authentication (publickey) successful!
Secsh channel 1 opened.
bzr: ERROR: Unable to create symlink 'tutorial/erl/client.sh' on this
platform
