easy bug suggestions

Since we're getting so many patches recently (thanks so much), I
thought I would wish on a few fairly high payoff bugs in case someone
wants to tackle them.  Feel free to suggest more, but to keep this on
topic please don't suggest bugs that you don't have good reason to
suspect are easy to fix.  (Feel free to post about non-easy important
bugs in a separate thread.)
