[RFC] Website refresh for 2.0.0

Not really related to the new website (great job btw!), but from a
user perspective, I would prefer the 2.0.0 release notes to be a diff
against 1.18.1. Now I have to look at 2.0.0, 2.0.0rc2 and 2.0.0rc1 to
read up on all the changes.
