Confused about versions ... 1.17, 1.18rc1, 2.0rc1

1.18 code was officially cut. We were waiting for installers, but at the
same time both Aaron Bentley and Jelmer Vernooij (two primary plugin
authors) went on vacation, and Martin went out of town on a business trip.

So basically the schedule for 1.18 just got royally screwed up. To the
point I'm not really sure where it is at, and 2.0 is just about out. So
I'm pretty sure that 1.18 is actually released, and just not announced.
