Hello Bazaar-Developers,
I noticed you are short of a release.
Ian Clatworthy recently has asked me to repeat one of my earlier tests
regarding <https://bugs.launchpad.net/bzr-fastimport/+bug/227678>.
Unfortunately Bazaar this time crashed relatively fast with an obscure
error
bzr: ERROR: bzrlib.errors.SHA1KnitCorrupt: Knit
<bzrlib.knit._VFContentMapGenerator object at 0x6b0b8e8c> corrupt: sha-1
of reconstructed text does not match expected sha-1. key ('<email address
hidden>',) expected sha ac751b5aac6b5b30032fd6e3221514ba1e3f9c89 actual
sha fa8611a135d9a7a7e5af89ab11c982eee6d98ec5
(see full details at the end (!) of that bugreport).
I noticed some days ago someone else was also reporting this kind of
corruption in the bazaar repo here on the list. To me this looks like a
major stability problem, probably with new repo formats.
I thought in case Ian is too busy, it would be better to post this here on
the list as well so that you don't release with that bug.
For the records: I am not aware of any problems with the source Git repo,
even run a 'git fsck' without any important problems.
Regards
Guido
