You will be able to ask a question if you have an openid url. There
may be an email confirmation step before sending you regular mail; I
think that is reasonable because we need a loop back to answer the
question reliably and it would otherwise be a spam channel. Whether
this amounts to creating an "account" is perhaps just a matter of
definition -- there is a row in the People table but not a mandatory
"create an account" form. It will be similar to what is done on
identi.ca or dopplr.
Just to be clear, I wasn't suggesting that questions by mail would not
be answered, of course they will be. As will questions on irc.
