Launchapd and Bazaar branches

I think the problem is the error since the state has been fixed for 3
weeks now.

My feeling is that a "push --overwrite" should forcibly trigger a
Launchpad refresh no matter what the state.  Project and branch owners
seems to have little or no control in certain areas of Launchpad
behaviour, having a few guaranteed refreshes would be useful.  

This is though a Launchpad thing rather than a Bazaar thing.

A branch history infelicity certainly, i am not sure it is a bzr-svn bug
per se.

The problem is that the error message doesn't really give me any clue as
to how to go about doing something to fix the problem.

I guess the real problem is the total disconnect between the branch that
is stored and the Launchpad view (which is of a different branch.
