Hi John,

Thanks for your answer. This would indeed be possible but getting the changes 
out is not the primary problem, alas. The base branch is the root of 
development of a number of other branches and /must/ be re-mergable multiple 
times. Doing a diff/patch would work, but it would effectively mean I would not 
use bazaar at all...
