It offers 2 things not availible in bzr:

1. If you diff the working directory, it passes the location of that
dir to the diff tool. (bzr passes creates temp files for the working
dir.) This is useful to revert just parts of a file.

2. It creates the whole tree on disk, and then runs the diff tool once
. bzr creates just the files that have changed, and runs the diff tool
for each file.
