New 1.14 RC date?

I would be very wary of getting in to a situation like 1.6 again
though.

While tweaking individual release dates is fine, there comes
a point when the community is better served by just having a
release, whether or not it contains the new feature.

I would recommend that if the date is slipped, it is only done
once (to a reasonable approximation), and if brisbane-core is
not ready then it should be slipped to the next release.

Of course, if the release schedule for 1.14 is kept to then
brisbane-core would be ready to land as soon as we branch for
the release, giving a full cycle to land it, test it, and
fix any serious problems.
