[PATCH] use KB instead of kB for traffic counters

I personally prefer KB to kB and KiB. I'm therefore happy for this to 
land as I think it's an improvement. Given the amount of feedback this 
raised though, I'd prefer it if Martin made the final call (hence just a 
comment vote for now).

There are plenty of good ideas raised in the resulting email thread but 
they can be done as separate patches IMO. In particular, I like the idea 
of having counters for both upload and download traffic shown, if that's 
possible.
