Message signatures from mailing list messages

Ah! I had always thought the mailing list software was doing this,
because it's peculiar to this list. But I see from the list archives
at <URL:https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/bazaar/> that's not so.

Now I'm wondering whether Gmane is for some reason stripping
signatures, unlike just about every other list available on Gmane.

I've sent a message to the Gmane admin to find out more. My apologies
for the confusion.
