You might like to look at the list of scenarios the Python team listed
in their (ongoing?) investigation of a DVCS and how it would affect
development usage scenarios.
It was initially at Google Docs, but its URL smells very temporary
<URL:http://docs.google.com/View?docid=dg7fctr4_40dvjkdg64> so I don't
know if there's a more up-to-date version.
