[RFC] proposed changes to log UI

Just to throw extra goo into the pot, I've occasionally wished I could
`log -r..123.4.56` and have it show the log _as if 123.4.56 were the
head_.  e.g., the first rev shown would be 123.4.56, but it would be
called revno 178 (I think?), and backward from there with the merges
etc. as they showed up in that branch.
