Thanks for the feedback.

FWIW, the Guide is meant as an introduction to the most commonly used
stuff, explaining HOW to use the product and WHY it's designed
the way it is. OTOH, the Reference ought to comprehensively cover
exactly WHAT the product does.

I'll *gladly* accept improvements to the Reference doc to fix the
problem you're highlighting. In terms of core product information,
the Reference ought to be a superset of the Guide. For example,
I'd like to see many more examples added to the Reference doc so
that those in the User Guide were a subset.
