If it's helpful, I'm on a Mac and did this using whatever was
installed with the Mac installer.

$ bzr --version
Bazaar (bzr) 1.9

I didn't set out to make Git look better than it is - but I am not
great at bzr (a bit better at hg), so if you want to share some tips,
I'd be happy to change the benchmarks.  I even tried to 'pack',
thinking it would help the bzr numbers.  Let me know if there are some
tips and I'll update the numbers.
