Any chance this patch will be included in the new upcoming branch/repo format
called CHK?

Mr. Robert Collins effectively blocking my patch for eol support and now
patch of Ian Clatworthy.

It's shame to have 95% ready solution for line-endings, keywords substitution
and other crazy stuff provided by content filtering.

You know what? Recently one guy asked me does bzr supports line-endings
conversion. I was forced to say "no ATM, and I don't know when".
His team decided to switch from svn to modern DVCS. His team working
on cross-platform project, so line-endings issues is critical feature.
So for him choice was actually not between bzr and others, but between
git and hg.

Today hg is clear winner for windows/cross-platform teams. Not because
it's really better than bzr. Just because it already has solutions
for important problems.

It's a shame for bzr.
