Sure, it should work with all url schemes, the main issue is with
sftp/bzr+ssh (using OpenSSH/Plink), because there is no way (as far I
know) to prompt for a password/passphrase. I think, this can
workaround using paramiko ssh implementation, but not 100% sure.

That would be great!
I'll announce the branch url and upload a build as soon I have it
ready for testing. (I need to install a Jira instance and do some
deploy/install tests)
