French accented characters and Windows command shell

Hello John,
I think that the windows command shell doesn't know anything about
UTF-8, thus 'bzr log'
is better when redirecting output into a file.
Is possible to add the revision id into the log output ?
I could then write an script to extract revno and revid from the output.
That will be easier than invoking two commands to do the job.
