I hope they get well soon, take whatever time you need to help them.
You're the RM, it's your call. But I think that while fixing tests is
really useful, it is something that mostly benefits developers, and it
does not matter whether it's in one particular release or not. After
1.6 I would only be stretching to fix bugs or regressions.
