1.7 dates and requests

I think those dates would be fine, and we really should do it on time
this time.  Now that I'm back and have working ADSL again I'm going to
work on the review queue and bugs targetted to 1.7, starting with
https://launchpad.net/bugs/261315 "getting a stacked branch over the
smart protocol fails" which mwh requested.
