No subject

I am new to Bazaar and I am trying to use version 1.7, which is part of
the Cygwin installation on my PC.  I believe the version of the Cygwin
DLL that is installed is 1.5.25 and I think it is release 11.

 

My problem is that I keep getting the error message below (depending on
the directory I am trying to commit) whenever I say

 

          bzr commit

 

and I don't know what I am doing wrong.  The init and add commands
seemed to work fine.  

 

I am the only developer on a number of small projects so I am using a
very simple model to version control the software and documentation I am
writing.  There is no merging or pushing or pulling to complicate
things.  I have looked in the places I know to look for any information,
but clearly have not looked in the right place yet.  Could someone tell
me where I could look for information that could explain the error of my
ways?  Thanx in advance.
