I've had a look at the Qt extensions and they certainly do have a more
native look-and-feel than the Gtk plugin (and the diff tool is very cool :).
I note however that the Qt work is sometimes lagging Gtk in terms of
functionality (ie, the number of commands implemented with a GUI front-end,
and also extensions such as "visualize") - much of this is trivial, but will
need to be addressed in some way.
A quick search doesn't reveal a mailing list or any other forum specifically
for the developers of the Qt plugin - what is the best way to get in touch
with the developers? Maybe just via the bug-tracker? In the first instance
I'd be looking for guidance on when I should attempt to extend the Qt plugin
itself, or when I should just implement functionality directly in Tortoise -
for example, there is no 'qinit' command, and Tortoise is likely to want to
offer a GUI version of 'init', so where that gets implemented is the
question...
Thanks,
Mark
