[MERGE][Bug #162469] log displayers for custom revision

Hi.

I attached an updated patch.

Basically the changes are:
  * correctly propagates the errors
  * tests was moved out of blackbox
  * properties handlers recieve revision object as argument

Any comments are more than welcome.
