Basically if a handler raise an error it's ignored and the execution
continues, as Aaron recommends, I'm going to change this behavior and
propagate the error.

Indeed, there is no other hook of this kind (as far I'm aware), so it
would be great to get consensus and a precedent to (future) similar
needs.
